Ghazni Governor’s spokesman said 11 armed Taliban militants were killed in Jaghato and Khwaja Omari districts of Ghazni during air strikes and armed conflict in the past 24 hours. “Abdul Khaleq, known as Abu Muhammad, the district governor of the Taliban for Jaghato district and Mullah Monir, named the Taliban leader, for the Khwaja Omari district of Ghazni province, were killed yesterday in an airstrike in central Ghazni province,” said Arif Noori, a spokesman for Ghazni’s governor.

Mr. Noori added that nine armed Taliban have been killed in the two other airstrikes yesterday in the districts of Andar and Qarabagh, and one case involving the security forces and the Taliban in the Mirzakhail village of Muqor district.
