While the Taliban responded to the government’s call by launching insurgent attacks after the Peace Loya Jirga was held in Kabul, the commandos in the southern part of the country have been ordered to punish Taliban and other terrorist groups while they are fighting against Afghan forces in the battlefields. In the most recent case, Abdul Samad Hakimi, the commander of fourth commando Brigade who went to Helmand, has ordered his man under command: “After this, do not allow any insurgent if it is ISIS, Taliban or other terrorists to forbid them to sleep, and take the innocent lives. Take them to hell. All terrorists must be suppressed and destroyed on the battlefield.”

This Army General continues to emphasize that the terrorists are, using the capabilities of neighboring countries and other intelligence groups, and they are trying to impose the battle more on the Afghan people. This is despite the fact that the Taliban have not achieved significant gains in the sixth round of peace talks with the United States.
