Seventeenth anniversary of Martyred Massoud was marked in Kabul

The commemoration of the seventeenth anniversary of Ahmad Shah Massoud, the national hero who was martyred in 2001 by two Arab terrorists, was celebrated in Kabul. During the ceremony, Ahmed Massoud, the eldest son of commander Massoud, jihadist leaders, distinguished figures and government officials participated. commander Massoud was an anti-Taliban figure and also the main figure in the struggle against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, he was martyred at the age of forty-eight, during a face-to-face interview, by two terrorists who were Arab citizens in Khawaja Baha’addin of Takhar. Two days after the martyrdom of commander Massoud, the world trade center twin towers were targeted by terrorists in New-York city and the architecture of this attack was known as Osama bin Laden, Al-Qaeda leader.

Commander Massoud was also called the Cold War conqueror, he formed resistance front called northern align during the Taliban regime and resisted the form of resistance during his testimony against the Taliban and their opponents, most of whom were military members of Pakistan. commanders Massoud was assassinated on 09 September 2001, and two days after his martyrdom, twin towers of world trade center fall down, these horrific attacks were designed by Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
