Several local media in Farah stopped their broadcast After Taliban attack on the city
Local media in Farah has stopped their broadcasting programs after Taliban took temporarily center of Farah. Hamayoon a local reporter of one media in Farah claimed that several local media was unable to process their broadcasting works and they shut down their systems. He also added to PMG: currently commando forces are deployed in the center of Farah and they have set back Taliban attack. But several media outlets were forced to stop their broadcasting in the city after Taliban capture several governmental institutions.
Mr. Hamayoon also confirmed the killing of Abdul Razaq Shairzad Security Head of police by Taliban during today’s clashes. At the same time has claimed that they have occupied several government compounds and they are operating until capturing fully the city of Farah. There was no immediate respond from Defense and Interior ministry of Afghanistan on this regard.
