Taliban shot a civilian in Saghar district of Ghour. Ghour Province spokesman Abdulhai Khatibi said that the incident occurred yesterday when the victim denied paying his taxes to the Taliban. The spokesman of Ghor governor also adds: “The Taliban this act has provoked the anger of the locals in the district, and Saghar district residents have been mobilized their forces to fight Taliban.”

Meanwhile, local authorities in Ghour say that after the Taliban killed this civilian man, security forces were also deployed to the area and the Taliban left the region after killing the civilian. This is not the first time the Taliban fired a civilian in the Saghar district, but just a few months ago a Taliban group shot a detainee in the district of Dolaina in this province.
