Six people were arrested in charge of Abdul Jabar Qahraman assassination

The Helmand Police Chief said six people were arrested in charges of assassinating Abdul Jabar Qahraman, member of parliament form Helmand.
Abdul Salam Afghan, spokesman for the police in Helmand province, said six people, including Mr. Qahraman bodyguards, were detained on charges of involvement in his assassination case, and investigations are under way.
It is to be noted that around 9:00 AM on Wednesday, an explosion occurred in the electoral office of Abdul Jabbar Qahraman, a member of the House of Representatives in the city of Lashkar Gah, Helmand province. As a result, Mr. Qahraman and several other of his colleagues were killed and seven others got wounded. The explosion was caused by explosives embedded in Mr. Qahraman’s electoral office. Taliban took responsibility for the attack.
Abdul Jabbar Qahraman was one of the most prominent political figures in the country. He was represented in the 16th round of the House of Representatives from Helmand province, and for one year also he served as the president’s adviser and coordinator for security forces in Helmand province.
Mr. Qahraman once again nominated himself for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for upcoming two days. Mr. Qahraman was a veteran general of the Afghan Army, who took his generalship in the year of 1990 from the government and was commander of the Southwest brigade
