The Afghan Independent Election Commission (IEC) has said that the country’s presidential election will be set for another three days.

Mirza Mohammad Haqparast, the deputy spokesman for the Independent Election Commission (IEC), said: “Work is currently underway to determine the date of the presidential election. According to Mr. Haqparast, the election commission is likely to announce the date of the election on Wednesday of the current week following a thorough review. As a result, Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani called on the Independent Election Commission to announce the process soon.

Earlier, Abdullah Abdullah, the country’s chief of Executive, also called for the removal of the political concerns of the country. He said since Afghanistan is on a sensitive path and has two fatal elections, the future of how much will the country be.
