Source: The Kabul Police Chief has been forced to resign
Kabul- Afghanistan (PMG):
A source in the government who refused to be named told the Pasbanan Media News Agency that Dawood Amin, commander of the Kabul police, had been forced to resign. The source insists that the interior minister has asked him to quit his post after the ISIS-K bloody attack on wrestling club called Maiwand in the west of Kabul.
Security officials have not formally confirmed this issue, and Interior Ministry spokesmen are not commenting on this regard. There are also unconfirmed reports that General Sayed Mohammad Roshandel, the former commander of Police Special Forces, will be appointed as the Commander of Kabul Police.
