Strong 6.0 quake hits Taiwan, shakes buildings in Taipei

US Geological Surveys show that a major earthquake shook up to 6 magnitude of buildings and roads in Taiwan, according to a report from the Pasbanan.
As local earthquakes say, large rocks have landed on roads, blocking traffic to Yilan and Hualien highway, local media said.
Reports indicate that the earthquake occurred at 1:01 pm at a depth of 19 km east of Hualien. And so far, nothing has been said about the casualties.
Earlier this year, a large earthquake of 6.4 degrees Richter occurred in Hualien, Taiwan, which left 17 dead.
