The patrol convoy in Parwan province in Bagram province was targeted by suicide bomber Friday night.
Alozai Ahmadi, commander of the Parwan Provincial Coordination Center, told media that last night a suicide car bomber targeted the US patrol convoy in Bagram’s Bazar district.
Mr. Ahmadi adds that no casualties have been reported so far, but several shops have been set on fire and some have been destroyed.
The commander of the Afghan Reserve Support Mission in Afghanistan has not yet confirmed or denied the news.
But the Taliban group claimed on Twitter that two tanks of the security forces were overwhelmingly destroyed and seven foreign soldiers were killed in the incident.
