Kandahar security officials say that the Taliban were attempting to enter the city by launching widespread attacks on the province, but they were defaced by the ANP’s efforts. Jamal Nasser Barakzai, a Kandahar police spokesman, said: “The two attackers attacked the police bomber in the tenth district of the city of Kandahar, who was killed by the police. The second attack took place in the 12th security zone, and the attackers were killed after being sacked by security forces. A third strike took place in the first district of Kandahar, which was retreated with the resistance of the police forces. ”

According to Mr. Barakzai, the police were not harmed by the attacks. Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Qari Yousuf Ahmadi claims that the people killed in the attack are civilians. The attacks took place just as the commander of General Kandahar, General Tadin, had ordered his subordinates not to have mercy on the Taliban on the battlefield. He emphasized that the Taliban militants should be eliminated in their nests to provide peace and security in Afghanistan.
