Taliban casualties in Daikundi province

Local authorities in the Daikundi province told media that security forces have killed seven Taliban fighters and wounded 16 others, with special operations launched in the province.
Local authorities in the Daikundi province said seven local police were killed and 16 other soldiers were injured as a result of a Taliban attack on security forces in Kajran district of the province.
Taliban militants attacked the Padgag and Heidarburg bays in Kajran district around 1:20 am today (June 28), Sakineh Ehsani, spokesman for Dai Kund governor, spokesman Dai Kundi, told the daily newspaper that Day 7 A local police soldier was killed and 16 others were injured, including local police, ANP and one of the popular uprisings.
Ms. Ehsani also said that the clashes between the security forces and the Taliban militants continued until 4:20 AM.
According to him, the security checkpoints were first torn down by the Taliban, but the security forces regained control of them. He also added that control of all areas is currently in the hands of the security forces.
A spokesman for Daikundi Governor also said eight other Taliban fighters were killed and four others wounded during a clash between the two sides.
