Taliban celebrate 100 anniversary of Afghanistan independence day in Baghlan

According to our correspondent’s report from the north-east of the country, the Taliban celebrated the 100th anniversary of independence day at the 19 august in the areas under their control. Pictures taken by a Pasbanan Media Group correspondent shows that the group has celebrated this day by holding the Taliban Islamic Emirate flags on Independence Day in Dahana Ghori district, one of the Taliban’s strategic bases.
Security sources in Polkhamari, meanwhile, say the group also celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Afghan independence in other parts of Baghlan as well. Meanwhile, Taliban commanders in Baghlan, have emphasized in their speeches that they will continue their fight against security forces is continuing. Earlier a Taliban spokesman claimed in a news release on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Independence Day that the Taliban had defeated the US and its allies on the battlefields of Afghanistan in the past 19 years.
