Taliban key commander and his 14 fighters were killed in Posht Koh of Farah
Farah security officials have announced that at least 20 Talib insurgents were killed and injured during an air operation in Farah province. According to security officials Mullah Anwar, a key commander of Taliban was also killed in this operation.
Mohibullah Mohib Farah police spokesman told media that this operation was launched in “Awar” and “Anjiran” villages of Post Koh district. Mr. Mohib also added: according to military information one Saracha vehicle, amount of ammunition and equipment’s including Rocket launchers, Pika, and AK 47 were destroyed by Afghan air forces.
Meanwhile, Farid Bakhtwar, head of Farah provincial council has urged the government to fulfill a massive plane for securing Farah province. He has also claimed that several areas of Farah province are currently under control of Taliban.
