Taliban: Mullah Bradar will not participate in negotiations with US envoy

The Afghan Taliban leader ship has stated that their newly appointed political chief will not participate peace Talks with Zalmay Khalilzad US envoy in next week meeting which would be held in Qatar. But US officials are willing to set with Mullah Abdul Ghani Bradar, Taliban cofounder and military veteran, to accelerate peace talks with the group and find a speedy solution for Afghanistan 18 years long war.
But Taliban senior leadership has revealed the issue that this influential figure among Taliban would not be able to travel to Qatar for the sake of difficulties in obtaining travel documents. Taliban authorities has said that there are also differences between Taliban leadership over the precise role that Bradar should have in Peace Talks. Mullah Ghani Bradar was release from Pakistani jail in October 2018. His appointment as the newly head of Taliban political office was widely seen as marking new push by Taliban to achieve political and diplomatic legitimacy.
