The Public Security Police in Kunduz arrested two suspects in an attempt to launch targeted killings. Jawed Neyazi, a spokesman for the Afghan public security Police, wrote in a newsletter: “around 8.30am on Friday, public police forces were able to arrest two suspects, while they were carrying out urban duties in the center of Kunduz, according to Mr. Neyazi these suspects managed to launch a targeted killing but before reaching their destination the arrest two suspected persons were arrested with amount of ammunition and weapons.”

Mr. Neyazi also added that from these two suspects police have seized some knives. Police reportedly arrested two suspects in charges of targeted killings in time, which terrorist in northeastern provinces is launching target killing operations to eliminate security officials in such attacks.
