The interior ministry has announced that Mina Mangal a former journalist and currently cultural advisor in Parliament of Afghanistan was assassinated in the eighth security district of Kabul this morning. Interior Ministry Spokesman Nusrat Rahimi has confirmed that the incident has taken place in Kabul PD 8 and police have been working to investigate how the incident took place and will soon bring more details of the incident to the media.

So far, the motive for this murder has not been clarified yet, but according to the eyewitness Ms. Mangal was attacked by unidentified gunmen when she wanted to go to her office and was hit by several bullets in the head. This is while residents in the eighth district of Kabul are worried about the increase in insecurity and criminal offenses in this area.
