According to reports from the north of the country, heavy battle between Afghan forces and armed forces has cause heavy traffic blockage in the northern highway in the area of Cheshmeh-e- Sher area of -Pul-e-Khumri. An army source told Pasbanan Media Group News Agency that a fierce conflict is taking place along the Baghlan -Samangan highway between security forces and armed opposition. The source adds that the Taliban have burnt down several tankers on the highway, and it is said that these oil tankers were related to private companies.

The reports say that the highway number one and number two in Baghlan are always under the clashes of the Taliban, and the journey is not safe and far from terrorist threats. According to the reports, Taliban are checking out at night and they are holding check post to target convoy of the security forces. Reports say that over this month, more than 10 tankers have been burnt by the Taliban, and the Taliban have taken four government employees as hostages a week ago from Khwaja Alwan district, where there is no news about their fate.
