Local officials in Kunduz province have announced that Taliban Red Army Company was completely eliminated in the province.

In a newsletter published by the 209 Shaheen Corps, more than 58 insurgents of Red Army company have been killed and wounded in the Kunduz province over the past 48 hours, including nine of their key commanders.

Hanif Rezayee, a spokesman for the Shahin Corps, told media that during the past 48 hours, 58 Taliban insurgents, including their 6 key commanders were killed during offensive and clearance operation of Afghan forces in Kunduz, he has stated that these forces were killed in the 6th district, Goor Tepa and Talwaka areas of Kunduz province.

Mr. Rezayee also added that these Taliban Red Army commanders include are known as Qari Amir, Qari Zaydallah, Qari Yahia, Qari Sahil, Qari Haroon, and Qari Jamil
