The eight Taliban hideouts in Helmand were destroyed

The Interior Ministry issued a newsletter that had been launched by the security forces as a result of a joint operation between special forces and police in (Nahr Seraj) district of Helmand province, which resulted in the destruction of eight Taliban group hideouts.
According to the newsletter, the Taliban group used the eight hiding places to organize “major terrorist attacks” in the province.
Seven Taliban members were also killed and five other members of the group were wounded in the hideout.
The Ministry of Interior has also said that as a result of the joint operation of the security forces, 25 bomber strikes involving the Taliban group, which were in some areas of Nangarhar district, have also been blocked.
Helmand province in the south of Afghanistan is one of the insecure provinces where the Taliban have secret and jail camps.
