The head of Criminal investigation department of Kabul Police Headquarters was dismissed

General Salem Almas, head of the Criminal Investigation of Kabul Police headquarters, was dismissed by the Interior Minister due to the wake management, and also increase in crimes around Kabul, the capital.
According to the Ministry of the Interior’s newsletter, the decision was subsequently taken by the leadership of the Ministry, in accordance with recently increased its crimes in Kabul City, according to which General Salem Almas, head of the Criminal Investigation Department in Kabul was relieved from his position due to negligence and inability to control criminal offenses in the city.
Meanwhile, reports reveal that the Ministry of the Interior has appointed Meenudin Seyal as the Successor of Salem Almas. It is also said that Mr. Seyal had previously served in one of the intelligence units of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kabul Police Headquarters.
