The hostage-taking of seven members of the security forces family in Sar-e-Pul

Local officials in Sar-e-Pul have claimed that the Taliban have launched a security checkpoint in Sancarak district of Sar-e-Pul-e- the province has been abducted by the members of the security forces. “These seven were kidnapped by the Taliban and were taken to an unknown location,” said Naqibullah Daqiq, Sancarak district Governor.
“The Taliban are pushing for the security forces using this issue, so the family of security forces in the Sancarak district have been forced to come to the center,” said Sancarak district governor. Meanwhile, Sayedullah Danish, vice chairman of the provincial council of Sar-e-Pul, confirmed the incident, “the Taliban have taken this approach, and if this situation continues, it will be catastrophic and disturbing.”
