The Kabul process was once again delayed

The Afghan Foreign Ministry has said the Kabul Process has been delayed again, and the meeting will be held after the “Loya Jirga of the Consultative Peace Assembly”. Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebghatullah Ahmadi told media: “It is expected that the parties will vote on peace and the ending of violence in Afghanistan and we believe that several international partners and international organizations will take part in this summit. Therefore, the Kabul Process, which is the first structure of international cooperation in Afghanistan, has been delayed until the Loya Jirga holds the Peace Consultation. ”
Last year, the Kabul Process summit was held with the presence of 20 donor countries and 3 international organizations in Kabul, the main focus of the summit was to find a solution to the end of violence in Afghanistan as well as the fight against narcotics. This year, it is expected that this meeting will be held with the participation of several contributing countries and international organizations in Kabul after gathering a unified view of Afghanistan’s peace.
