Herat local officials say: “The largest orphanage in Afghanistan has been built at a cost of over 5 million dollars in the province by the support of an Afghan national trader.
The Herat provincial press office wrote in a newsletter: “The Darul-aitam Ansar collection, which was built by a national trader near the Peer Herat Tomb. This orphanage provides education for hundreds of orphaned children in the province.”
The national Trader has faced the appreciation of Herat’s governor, and local officials say such efforts can be effective in improving the social status of the citizens of the country, especially the children and orphans.
