The government will soon launch a 50-bed hospital equipped with global standards in the Pul-e-Charkhi prison of Kabul with advanced facilities. At a meeting yesterday, the High Council for Prisons was convened by Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, chief executive of the country, to examine the status of the prisons. Firaidon Khuzon, the spokesman for the chief executive, said that prisoners ‘concentration is one of the major problems and has been entrusted to a commission to investigate and resolve prisoners’ problems.

“It was decided at this meeting how to solve the problem,” said Mr. Khuzon, adding that 50 beds in the central prison or Pul-e-Charkhi are under construction to be equipped with the facilities and the current problems faced by Afghan prisoners. Consider all these challenges to be solved? ”

However, the International Committee of the Red Cross has also assured that it will help equip the hospital. Prisoners of Pul-e-Charkhi prisons have always complained about the lack of health services.
