350 insurgents were shot dead in a week’s time. Sayed Ghafoor Ahmad Jawaid, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, said that despite the snow and rain the security forces launched air operations in Helmand, Sar-e-pul, Takhar, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Paktia, Balkh, Kandahar and Uruzgan provinces, and during these operations including several fighters of Taliban, their several commander, including: Mullah Shafiqullah, Mullah Zanjir, Mullah Noor Ahmed, Abdullah, Zahedullah, Yusuf, Badrudin, Mullah Faizullah, Mawlawi Nematullah, Mullah Mahdi, Mullah Noor al-Haq, and Mullah Timoorshah the most known commanders of Taliban were among Taliban death bodies.»

The Ministry of Defense has claimed that the air force’s operations also destroyed a large number of insurgents bases, hideouts and ammunition depots and their attacks were pushed back by such casualties.
