According to foreign media outlets, the IRGC has published a newsletter: A number of suicide attackers were detained by the border guards on the Khaosh-Capon Road. They were based in several houses in Khash and Caprine, identified and arrested by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The operation said that “three terrorists were arrested and 150 kilograms of ready-made explosives and 600 kilograms of explosives were being built, and some weapons and ammunition were discovered,” the Revolutionary Guards said.

Meanwhile, Islamist militant groups have been active in the border areas of Iran and Pakistan more than a decade ago and have repeatedly attacked Iran’s military and state forces.
