The Taliban intelligence chief and 20 other warriors were killed in Maidan-Wardag

At least 21 insurgents were killed as a result of special operations of the National Directorate of Security Forces in Maidan-Wardag. The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has released a newsletter that has stated: The operation was launched last night in Sayed Abad district of Maidan-Wardag province by special forces of this institution. The National Directorate of Security newsletter has also written that the fighters had gathered in Sayed Abad district to launch terrorist attacks, close the transit roads, and disrupt the electoral process in Maidan- Wardag.
The National Directorate of Security has also claimed that due to the air and ground operations of the Special Forces of this institution, the famous Taliban commanders, including Mawlawi Naqibullah, head of the Intelligence Unit of Maidan-Wardag, Mawlawi Abdul Rahman responsible for the Taliban’s disadvantaged fighters, the Haqqani Network’s member Mawlawi Saif-ur-Rahman, Mawlawi Samad Vaziri, Sayed Abad district Shadow governor, Mawlawi Sayedullah, general commander of Taliban in Tanguay Sayed Abad district and Mawlawi Najib, commander of the Taliban’s 15-member group in Maidan- Wardag, were killed. During the operation, the amount of ammunition and weapons of Taliban militants was also destroyed by the National Security Forces.
