Local officials have reported shooting three passengers in the Jalriz district of Maidan Wardak province.
Mohammad Hussein Balegh, a member of the Provincial Council of Maidan Wardak, told media that the Taliban group had stormed three passengers on a two-pronged road in Jalriz District, killing 3 passengers and wounding two others.
This is despite the fact that the No. 2 Road is one of the most insecure roads in the province of Maidan Wardak, which is also known as the Death Road. Every year the Taliban are victims of road travelers who are mostly young people and students from the Bamiyan, Daikundi and Maidan Wardak provinces.
