The State Department has told media that the country has begun its evaluation of civilian aid to Afghanistan.
The US embassy wrote in a newsletter that this assessment will be carried out at the request of President Ashraf Ghani, who will assess the strategic outcomes of US aid to the national unity government.
The news comes as the presidential palace hosted the US Department of State deputy yesterday, and it was decided to review US civilian aid to Afghanistan.
