The Afghan Ministry of Interior (MoI) has released a newsletter that three Afghan directorates of security personnel have been killed since the explosion of explosive material loaded vehicles. “Three officers of the Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) were killed when they wanted to dismantle a vehicle full of explosives,” the ministry said. “Half of the material which was placed in the vehicle was dismantled but half of it was blown up in a state of destitution, which resulted in the death of 3 national security personnel.”
The MoI newsletter has also written that at least two other employees of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) were wounded during the operation to rehabilitate the material displaced in the vehicle. It is still not clear who or the group was behind the event.
