Tornado kills at least 23 in US state of Alabama

Local authorities in the state of Alabama say that at least 23 children were killed in the wind and severe storms in the state.
Mr. Joy Jones, a local government official in the state, said that relief workers have gone to the area and are expelling injured people. Alabama Governor Kay Levy wrote on his twitter page: There is a risk of more severe weather events. He added: “Our hearts have plagued those who lost their lives in the storm (Lee John) today.”
The US National weather center said the wind speed is 266 kilometers per hour.
