Trump, with signing a document, recognized the Golan highlands as Israel’s sovereignty

Donald Trump, today signed a document which has recognized the Golan highlands as the sovereignty of Israel. Mr. Trump signed the document in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin, Netanyahu, according to a US media report. The Golan Heights was considered as Syria territory after the six-day battle between the Arabs and Israel in 1967. At present, the United Nations considers the Golan highlands as a part of Syria’s territory.
Meanwhile, Syrian authorities have said that Trump has violated Syrian national rule by doing so. Earlier, Trump wrote in a Twitter message that now the time has come that they should recognize the Golan Heights as the sovereignty of Israel.
