UN: 217,000 Afghan citizens have been displaced in the past seven months

As the fighting in Afghanistan goes on and efforts are also have been made to bring peace to the country, now according to statists dozens of Afghans have lift their homes daily due to the ongoing war, the United Nations has said in a recent UN report that at least 217,000 Afghans have left their homes in Afghanistan in the past seven months and have been displaced to other regions in the country. The United Nations has said on Thursday that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced from their homes as a result of the ongoing war in Afghanistan, and the country is in dire need of humanitarian aid.
More than 217,000 people have been forced to flee their homes in the first seven months of the year, according to the UN Humanitarian Aid Coordination Office (OCHA). The agency also added that 85 percent of all displaced people are children under the age of 18 years.
