American officials warned president Ghani on behalf of Hamdullah Moheb verbal attack and had told the president, Moheb would not be welcomed by US any more. According to a Reuter’s news agency, a senior US official has said to president Ghani that Washington is not willing to arrange any deal with Hamdullah Moheb.
According to Reuters, one day after Zalmay Khalilzad was accused by Hamdullah Moheb that US Senior negotiator is looking for isolation of the Afghan national unity government, David Hill, the US undersecretary of State in political affairs has told president that this move of Moheb is shameful. A source in the Afghan government who did not want to be named, told Reuters: “David Hell, has called to the president and warned him that after this, Hamdullah Mohab will not be welcomed in Washington, and in addition none of US officials are banned to deal with him in Washington or in Kabul.”
US State Department officials have not stated their views on this issue, and the embassy of Afghanistan United States has remained silent on this regard. However, sources believe that while boycotting Hamdullah Moheb the United States, is trying to force President Ghani to dismiss him from his rank as National Security Advisor.
