The US Embassy has written a newsletter saying that the country is providing $ 125 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. The agency said the money was returned to meet the needs of IDPs, victims of natural disasters and immigrants.

The United States has said that with this aid package, the total aid will reach $ 190 million this fiscal year.

The US Embassy in Kabul has called on other countries to increase their aid at the request of the United Nations to protect Afghan citizens.

So far, about 27 percent of the budget needed for emergency aid is in Afghanistan. The embassy said its country is committed to protecting vulnerable Afghan citizens and continuing to support and work with the Afghan people. The embassy said new US aid will be used to provide emergency food, nutrition, drinking water, sanitation, and drought.
