Waleed Tamim become Afghan Ambassador to Delhi

Based on reports, former head of oil and gas department, Waleed Tamim, was elected by President of Afghanistan as the new ambassador to New Delhi. Mr. Tamim has been appointed to this position in the supreme rank in order to coordinate relations with India, and Mr. Tamim has been also in charge of trading in the fields of gas and oil, in particular.
This choice is being made due to various reasons, the government dismissed him as head of oil and gas business for some time. Meanwhile, Mr. Tamim has said he will try to address the challenges facing Afghan citizens in India.
