WORLD WORK Organization: Most modern slaves are women and children

The World work organization, Walk Ferry Foundation, says most of today’s slaves are women and children. In a hit, they report that 71% of women and 25% of children are in slavery.
Most of the slaves are low-paid laborers, and the report continues, and 11 percent of today’s slaves, reaching 4.8 million, are targeted toward sexual exploitation.
While more than four million people in the world are officially employed as slaves for work on the farm in several countries, and in some countries children inherit slaves from their fathers and mothers. In the case of Mauritania, for example, she would be born as a slave if she had a mother.
