Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has announced in a press release that it is expected that from tomorrow the Intra-Afghan Talks would be held in Qatar for Two days and it the meeting would be launched from tomorrow. Mr. Mujahid has stated: “It is expected that the meeting between the Afghan figures will be held in Doha, Qatar, on July 7th and 8th of July in order to find a peaceful solution in Afghanistan. The summit will be held personally by and more than 60 figures from Afghanistan would participate in this summit and the parties are expected to seek a peaceful solution, this meeting is held by the efforts of Qatar and Germany.”

The Taliban newsletter has also highlighted: “The meeting will include 17 members of the Taliban negotiators including Abbas Stanekzai the negotiating team head, who will discuss their views on the position of the Taliban. The talks will postpone for two days talks with the American delegation in Qatar, and the process will resume again on July 9. “Taliban are announcing the Intra-Afghan meeting between the Afghan delegation in Qatar while a senior advisor to the president on strategic communication affairs, said today they expect to reach a possible peace agreement with the Taliban in the next two months.
