Zalmay Khalilzad, the Special Envoy of US for Afghan Peace, who is currently in 15 days tour to Afghanistan, Britain, Jordan, Belgium, and some other Islamic and European countries, has met with British officials. According to Khalilzad In a meeting with officials from the United Kingdom to share details of the progress of the Afghan peace process with Britain. Mr. Khalilzad said: “Briefly in London to consult with senior officials from Her Majesty’s government in pursuit of our shared goal of peace in Afghanistan and security for our countries. Always a pleasure to consult with our UK partners.”

The 15-day visit is due to the fact that Pakistan’s prime minister, Imran Khan, had long ago considered the end of the crisis in Afghanistan to be an interim government and emphasized that the leaders of the National Unity government were struggling to make more strides against this trend.
