Increase in COVID-19 positive cases in Afghanistan, infected reach to 423
“In the last 24 hours, at least 56 positive cases of coronavirus has bee registered all over Afghanistan. With these cases, the number of infected reached a total of 423 cases of coronavirus in Afghanistan,” the Ministry of Public Health said in its latest figures.
Wahidullah Mayar, the spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Public Health, said in a recent statement: “In past 24 hours at least 56 positive new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country, we had 27 positive cases in Herat, 12 positive cases in Kabul, ten positive cases in Kandahar, five positive cases in Balkh and “Two positive events recorded in Nangarhar.” Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health warns citizens to take quarantine measures seriously in the cities. Also, the Afghan Ministry of Interior has warned all violators that if they ignore government guidance, they will take legal action against them.
