Ministry of Telecommunications: we are looking to provide online learning facilities

With the spread of the “Covid 19” virus and the closure of all schools in the country. Afghanistan Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology has announced that it is working on a strategy to streamline education in schools. Mohammad Fahim Hashemi, the head and nominee of the Telecommunications and Information Technology, wrote in a tweet: We discussed and exchanged issues with the Ministry of education and Telecommunications and Information Technology will not hesitate to cooperate and we will work with the Ministry of Education to address the gap in education in the country.”

Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has emphasized: “Efforts are underway to launch Livestream services in schools and educational institutions. We hope that all institutions, especially the Ministry, will be able to fight against Coronavirus and, on the other hand, students in Afghanistan do not miss their lessons.
