New Zealand mosque attacker admits killing 51 Muslim worshippers
A year ago, on this same date, a 29-year-old Australian man (Brinton Trent) in New Zealand shot and killed over 50 worshipers in two separate mosques over prayers.
The Australian prosecutor told the prosecutor that he had killed 51 Muslims in a shooting in 2019 last year.
He had previously denied all the crimes he had committed, but confessed to his crimes at a meeting on Tuesday, March 26.
Prosecutor Cameron Mander recorded the convictions on all charges, saying the man would be sentenced until a date has been determined.
He added that because of the virus, his trial would be postponed for some time and he would remain in prison for a specified period.
