“4,500 oxygen balloons have been purchased from Iran and are expected to arrive soon. Uzbekistan has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Afghanistan to deliver about 300 oxygen balloons a day,” the acting public health minister said, referring to the Ministry of Public Health leadership’s efforts to address oxygen shortages. In addition, oxygen generators are to be installed in the country’s ten provinces, except Ghazni and Daikundi provinces, where oxygen generators have already been activated.


The Acting Minister of Public Health, referring to the implementation of the Corona vaccine, said that the process of enactment of this vaccine has resumed after a week delay, and this vaccine is based on the priority of the Ministry of Public Health and the guidelines of the World Health Organization to people at risk. , Military personnel, teachers, people over fifty years of age who have a chronic illness).


The head of the Ministry of Public Health stressed that the ministry requested assistance from the United States, Canada, Denmark, and Qatar to receive the vaccine, which the State Department is seriously pursuing. He also cited the closure of training centers, wedding halls, baths, sports clubs, and swimming pools as an effective way to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.


Wahidullah Majrooh assured the country’s citizens that the ministry has taken all necessary measures to control the Coronavirus and provide health services and that no delays have been made in this regard.
