Ronaldinho released from Paraguay Prison
At 2 a.m. today, Paraguay’s security official announced with a pencil that Ronaldinho, the former star of Barcelona and the Brazilian national team, had been released from the country’s prison with a time of 1.6 million euros and was under house arrest. The former world football star was arrested by police last month on charges of using a fake passport while entering Paraguay.
This happened while Ronaldinho and his brother wanted to take part in an advertising event in Paraguay that was blocked by the Polish police. But their lawyer added that their client had found the passports as a gift from a local sponsor and did not know they were fake.
