Sources: Ahmad Saeedi has left Afghanistan due to security threats
Some sources, who did not want to be named, confirmed in an interview with the Pasdaran media group news agency that Ahmad Saeedi, a university professor and one of the country’s leading analysts, had left Afghanistan due to security threats. These sources emphasize that Mr. Saeedi left the country a few days ago and is currently outside Afghanistan.
But when we contacted Mr. Saeedi’s family members, his relatives said that he was currently inside the country but that he did not live with his family due to security concerns. Ahmad Saeedi is one of the prominent and well-known analysts of the country who always speaks out against the government’s policies and considers the policies of the current government more authoritarian. Mr. Saeedi was recently attacked for the second time and survived. Ahmad Saeedi has already worked as an Afghan diplomat in Pakistan and is fully acquainted with regional developments.
