The National Directorate of Security forces (NDS) has announced that at least 18 militants have been killed in a targeted operation on the hideouts of Taliban terrorists in Uruzgan, according to a news release. The newsletter has stated: “The targeted operation of NDS forces was directed at the headquarters of “Mawlawi Sharif-U-Din”, the Taliban’s military commander in Uruzgan.”

“The operation resulted from the deaths of at least 18 Talib insurgency, six heavy weapons, seven light weapons, 47 anti-personal mines, five bombs, five transmissions, and hundreds of crippled weapons and the number of military uniforms has been seized to the hands of the national directorate of security forces. ”

The operation has been launched while the Taliban have expanded their activities in several provinces of the country.
