The Election Complaints Commission announced yesterday (Saturday, 28 September) that about 1,900 electoral complaints have been filed on the eve of the presidential election in 2019.

The presidential election of 2019 was held yesterday (28 September) with a low turnout, with the Election Complaints Commission reporting that more than 1,900 complaints have been filed, the officials also say that by the end of the deadline (48 hours) more complaints would be filed. The organization did not provide details on the categorization of these complaints but said that most of the complaints were about voter lists and biometric devices.

However, the Afghan presidential election was held yesterday under relatively high-security measures. but the elections officials say that more than 2 million people had voted, but preliminary statistics show that people’s turnout was low the preceptions of the elections commission.
