Foreign troops convoy near Bagram targeted by Taliban

The convoy of foreign troops who had been out for patrol near Bagram Camp was attacked by the Taliban. Parwan police commander Mohammad Mahfouz Wali Zadeh, confirms the incident, saying the Taliban targeted a convoy of foreign troops in the village of Saydan, near Bagram, last night.
No details have been released about the casualties.
But a Taliban spokesman says eight militants were killed and four others were wounded in the incident.
The Taliban attack on a convoy of foreign troops comes after US Secretary of Defense Mark Sper said in a news conference in Kabul on Monday that they would continue their attacks on the Taliban.
