Officials of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) have released a newsletter that during a targeted operation of NDS Special Forces they have killed more than 30 terrorists including their senior commanders in Helmand province.

According to the agency’s newsletter: “The National Directorate of Security Special Forces (NDS) Launched a targeted operations in Sangin and Marjah districts of Helmand province over the headquarters of Mullah Abdul Hakim, head of the Taliban Red Company and Mullah Anar Gul, the Taliban leader, during this operation at least 30 insurgents including their key commander was killed in Marjah district.”

The report also indicates: “In the course of these operations, at least 49 different types of mines, an AK-47 Gun, seven I com Takiwake, thousands of bullets and some military equipment were seized by the forces involved in the fallen operations and eight enemy camps were completely destroyed during this operation of National Directorate of Security Special Forces were eliminated.”
